These courses will prepare students for the Cambridge English KEY, Preliminary, First Certificate or Advanced exam. The exams include reading, writing, listening and speaking and the course will prepare students for all parts of the exam. In eight sessions, participants will work on their language skills and exam technique. They will also practise exam questions and get feedback and tips from the teacher so that they feel more confident and able to do their best on the exam day. The course dates are planned so that participants can prepare for the exams in December directly at alpha beta piccadilly. Have fun and learn English in the colourful, communicative and creative world of board games! Every day the children play a different board game and learn the associated English vocabulary (e.g. Valley of the Vikings, Ticket to Ride). One morning during the week will also be dedicated to video gaming, with a focus on the communicative learning potential of video games. If the weather is good, short excursions will also be part of the programme. At lunchtime, the children eat a packed lunch that they bring from home.

On request we also organise intensive language weeks for school groups. These can be for general language improvement, preparation for language exams or cultural topics.
